Throughout her tenure on the Public Service Commission over the past twelve years, Fedorchak has been instrumental in driving investment in North Dakota, bringing billions of dollars of projects to the state that provide good-paying jobs for North Dakotans and reliable energy throughout the state and country.
She has also focused on rail safety and affordability for North Dakota citizens, along with efforts to ensure our beautiful North Dakota landscape is preserved for generations to come. Fedorchak is currently the President of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), reflecting the national recognition of her work as a leader in North Dakota.
Fedorchak's deep roots in North Dakota, from being born in Williston to her upbringing in Fargo and Bismarck, have shaped her commitment to the state. She served in the administration of Governor Ed Schafer and on the staff of Senator John Hoeven. She is a proud graduate of the University of North Dakota.
She is married to her husband Mike of 25 years, and they reside in Mandan with their three children.
